Another reason to celebrate at WIRE!
We are delighted to share some exciting news! Women in Revenues and Enforcement has been named a finalist for Women's Network of the Year at the Inspiring Women in Local Government Awards 2026.
This is another wonderful opportunity to celebrate the community we have built and the difference that bringing women together can make. WIRE continues to provide a space for women across local government to connect, share experiences, learn from one another and support each other's development and progression.
Whether through our events, conversations, networking or the opportunities we create to share knowledge and experiences, our focus has always been on helping women feel connected, supported and empowered to reach their potential.
And we have even more exciting news to share!
Our Co-Founder and President, Charlotte Crane, has also been named a finalist for Ally of the Year.
This individual recognition celebrates her work in championing women's progression, challenging barriers and encouraging a more inclusive culture across local government.
Both nominations mean a great deal and reflect the importance of the work being done to create opportunities, challenge perceptions and make a positive difference across our sector.
A huge thank you to everyone who makes WIRE what it is – our members, speakers, sponsors, partners and supporters. Your involvement, enthusiasm and continued support help us keep growing and moving forward.
We are incredibly proud to be part of these awards and look forward to celebrating with our fellow finalists!
Here's to WIRE, our community and continuing to make a difference.
